For the last 6 years I’ve been apart of an amazing music ministry at Stonebridge Church in Cedar Rapids, IA. I worked as the youth worship leader and had a great team of youth and adults alike. During this time at Stonebridge, I started to build a band, happygo lovely, in the spring of 2007 and what was to come truly astounds me. As a band we started to write our first self-produced/released EP, Love Divine, which would only set the standard of the music and live energy that was to come.
As happygo lovely started to gain more success and started to play more ministry events as well as clubs, I decided to step down from the youth worship leader position at Stonebridge and completely give me attention to the happygolovely….We are currently in the studio working on our first full-length record at CODA record house in Lincoln, NE. Our good friend Riley Friesen is producing the record with us, and it’s been an amazing experience thus far.

After the summer of 2009, I will be tentatively attending North Central University in Minneapolis, MN to major in recording arts, and while college will be the focus for a bit, happygo lovely will still be playing shows and writing–we’re 100% invested in this.
